The food is great! The servers are awesome! The bathrooms are very scary. Have gone before lunch rush and after, still the bathrooms, while tidy are gross. Stall walls and floors are greasy. Dirt in stall corners and back of toilets, indicate that it's been a while since a thorough cleaning. Makes me worry about the kitchen.

It's buffet style. The food was very good! The best part about the whole thing is my tea glass was never empty. THANK YOU KIRK for the fabulous service!!! Those who know me and my reviews know that's a big deal with me about having an empty tea glass!! 4/11/25 Went there today for lunch. Didn't have Kirk this time as my waiter/waitress but the young lady did a good job, tea glass was never empty. It was very good!

Unfortunately my husband loves old times Country buffet's fatback just like the fatback Mom used to make on that cast iron skillet! it is quite delicious! I got to experience some great customer service today. There was no fatback on the buffet and I don't live in Statesboro. It's a drive. I only pick some up when I happen to be in Statesboro so I was disappointed. the manager came out and said "Ma'am We'll fix them for you." "That's okay. " I said. She said " just come back in a couple hours." I said "okay. I will Try." I did go back. It wasn't there. I said "okay when I walk across the parking lot and do so looking around and I'll come back." She said " okay. It'll be ready." Well it still wasn't ready but the manager explain the problem and I set down and drink a couple of water and I got the fat back fresh and hot! What a great manager! What great customer service! Thanks Old Times Country Buffet for reminding me how good Southern Hospitality is when found in a Local Business!

My parents visit often from Virginia. From years ago when I initially brought them here they have been hooked! My dad loves...might I say is obsessed with the fried bone in catfish served on Fridays! This is now a Friday evening tradition when they visit! Thanks to Britney H who made him so happy today by keeping his plate full of catfish!!!

It was the best Sunday dinner I have had and a long time. A great selection of food to choose from. The soul food options were amazing and very good. The cooking staff did a great job .

The food was hot and always freshly filled up. The Manager was so nice and asked how we were enjoying our food. Her name was Jessica. She let out server know to keep us happy!! Everyone there surely worked together nicely!! I can't wait to bring my family back!! Thanks everyone there!

Food was hot,fresh, and well seasoned,the wait staff was courteous and had amazing chemistry. No one seemed caught up in whose station it was,only meeting the needs of the guest. Obsequious is the word I would use concerning them. They are exemplary! Even the cashier she was even tempered and moved like a well-oiled machine. Not phased by the constant traffic or the demands of putting to-go items in bags while trying to process pending payments via credit card or debit card. The cleanliness of the place was impressive too. To the owner and staff. Well done!
